About this piece

The Open-String Book for Cello, written specifically for cellists ages 4-9, teaches basic bowing and rhythm skills using only open strings. While first helpful for the absolute beginner, the book is also useful after fingered notes have been learned, as a supplemental book that allows the teacher to focus on bow control and correct bow-arm movement. Please note: this book is not compatible with the other instrument books in the series.
