A ten-minute solo written in 2020 through the LA Phil's National Composers Intensive and premiered by LA Phil cellist Jason Lippmann in the orchestra's Fall 2020 digital season; the San Francisco Symphony later programmed it in its SoundBox series. Nico Muhly describes it as asking the cellist to create 'a landscape of gorgeous aquatic light, shade, and turbulence', moving between traditional technique and ecstatic extended techniques. Part of a group of works drawing on the Irish and Andean cosmologies of the composer's ancestry.
