About this piece

Two educational pieces for cello quartet, written for cellist and teacher Ian Hampton and workshopped with cello students at the Langley Community Music School. The four parts are graded: Cello I is advanced, Cellos II and III are intermediate, and Cello IV is for a beginner. Even the easier parts use glissando, pizzicato (including left-hand pizzicato), tremolo, sul ponticello, natural harmonics and knocking on the body of the cello.
