About this piece
An 11-minute work for cello and chamber orchestra (single woodwinds, two horns, timpani, gong or tam-tam, vibraphone and strings). In her program note the composer describes it as a contemplation of emotional cycles, with the soloist emerging from and receding into the orchestral texture rather than leading from the front. Petr Nouzovský recorded it with the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra under Petr Vronský for PARMA/Navona.
