About this piece
Moyseowicz's second sonata for piano and cello, composed in 1985-86, is a large-scale work of about 20 minutes; her title puts the piano first. Ries & Erler publishes it as a facsimile of the composer's manuscript, with a 32-page score and a separate cello part. A live recording from Vienna on 25 November 2008, with the composer at the piano and Matthias Wilde on cello, appears on her album Musical Firmament and on her YouTube channel.
