About this piece
A short duo for cello and piano that Krash wrote in 2019 as the processional for her son's wedding. Albany Records' album description presents it as a piece about a mother's wishes for her adult son's happiness, and the Textura review calls it heartfelt and at times jazz-inflected. Cellist Tanya Anisimova, Krash's duo partner of more than two decades, recorded it with the composer for the album True Stories (Albany, 2026). Krash arranged it for violin and piano in 2025.
