Five travel pictures for cello and piano, composed in 1928 and published by Henry Lemoine in 1938, the year after Vierne's death: Grenade (Andante moderato), Sur le Léman (Adagio), Venise (Allegretto moderato), Steppe canadien (Adagio) and Poissons chinois (Vivace). Each movement has its own dedicatee, among them the cellists Paul Bazelaire and Gregor Piatigorsky. The movements run from about two and a half to eight minutes and can be played separately. Lemoine still sells the cello and piano edition, and the first edition is on IMSLP, where it is public domain in Canada and in countries with life-plus-50 or life-plus-70 terms but probably not yet in the United States.
