About this piece

A beginning-level anthology for cello and piano of music by Black and Latino composers, including Margaret Bonds's 'Dry Bones', Florence Price's 'Rabbit Foot', Ignatius Sancho's Minuet No. 1, Eubie Blake's 'The Chevy Chase', Ernesto Lecuona's 'Córdoba' and María Grever's 'Júrame'. The publisher says the series aims to address the lack of representation in the pedagogical repertoire. Print solo and piano books and a digital edition (18 of the print works) are sold separately, with companion recordings by cellist Christine Lamprea.
